Friday was Fiesta 2012 kick off day on the Mission Road campus. Food and activity booths were set up by the on campus departments for the enjoyment of our day services clients, our residents and their families. Pickles, Fresh fruit, and, of course, comidas mexicanas kept everyone nourished and happy. Check out the creative "floats", made by our children in the Children's Program and SOAR & More (our summer and after school program). The children's floats have inspired us to get ready for the three wonderful parades coming up this week: The Texas Cavaliers River Parade on Monday night, The Battle of Flowers parade on Friday at noon, and the Fiesta Flambeau night parade on Saturday. Click on the article title to see more pictures and then check back for more throughout the week. VIVA FIESTA!!

Friday the 13th was a lucky day for the adult residents of our 14 community homes. While the residents were away at their daytime activities, our executive team, campus and nursing staff, joined forces with house managers and direct care employees, to plant flowers and mulch the yards. Impending rain didn't slow each team's determination and the "after" pictures speak for themselves. A beautiful "Welcome Home" surprise awaited residents that day.Click the article title for more pics!

Our friends at Sundt Construction, Inc. have donated some beautiful furniture to our newest community home. The four lucky young men who will move in this April, will now have an inviting and comfortable living room in which to unwind. The furniture was delivered by several Sundt employees, who not only unloaded but helped install “the haul.”
