Friday, January 13th was a lucky day for the clients and friends of the Unicorn Center! Floodgage provided a free concert and there was lots of dancing, singing to Classic Rock, and even an air guitar challenge with the band's lead guitarist. Thanks Floodgage, for sharing your time and talents with us-You Rock!!

Hot off a performance at the 32nd Annual Grand Western Shindig that still has all attendees talking, the Unicorn Steppers dance troupe has set their sights mighty high! Recently, they auditioned for “America’s Got Talent” in Austin. It’s a very involved process ...in order to audition they had to be in line at 8 am to get a “wrist band” ...then hurry up and wait... for most of the day. Did you know that they had to leave San Antonio at 4 am to make the audition on time? Everyone agreed that it was all worth it and FUN! What a great experience for our Steppers! Special thanks to Alvin, Stevie and Jennifer (Unicorn staff) and all the parents and friends that volunteered to help. We will keep you posted on developments.

It may be a burnt orange Christmas for the Mission Road family this year! A truckload full of UT clothing merchandise made a trip from Austin to San Antonio this afternoon to donate the clothing to Mission Road clients.
