Enclave Operations

The Unicorn Centers’ Enclave Operations program provides a community-based work environment incorporating the elements of competitive employment. The Enclave Operations program acts as a mid-point between Extended Employment and Supported Employment. 

The Unicorn Centers operates several community based work operations. The longest running enclave operation is the custodial project at Grace Lutheran Church, which is a group of Unicorn customers who perform light custodial duties for Grace Lutheran. A Unicorn staff member is the supervisor of this group which works five days per week from 9 a.m. to noon. All enclave operations participants are paid based on productivity and are evaluated every six months.
